Can learning Chinese be easy? If you had asked me this question a few months ago, I would have laughed(笑). Chinese is considered one of the hardest languages to learn and I was skeptical(不相信) about how easy it could actually be after a year of studying. On my first day of class, my teacher(老师) told us “Chinese language is not difficult(难) and I can prove(证明) it in two hours.” We started with the basic introductions and then moved onto numbers. Our teacher told us that we can learn how to count from 1 to 10,000 in ten minutes and he was right(没错儿). Using the numbers that we had already learned, we could easily learn days of the week(星期), months(月), years, and time words after only a few more minutes. We had absorbed a lot of new vocabulary(新词) in a very short period of time. We continued to learn useful bargaining(讨价还价) and travel vocabulary. This class gave us the opportunity(机会) to interact with Chinese people.
I strongly recommend the Sinology Institute’s “Chinese survival “courses. These courses are perfect for people who want to survive in China while traveling(旅游), studying(学习), or doing business(做生意). These two hour classes will save you a lot of frustration(挫折) and make your time in China much easier. The classes at Sinology Institute make learning Chinese fun(有趣) and easy(简单) and allow your Chinese to progress(进步) more in a few months than it would at other places in a year.
